After a full service flight with Qantas, guests arrived at the newly renovated Cairns Domestic Airport.
The Cairns Airport redevelopment introduces spacious new terminals featuring common-user check-in and arrivals areas, new retail outlets and vibrant local artwork.

Welcome Lunch
Located in the centre of Cairns and surrounded by a variety of international standard hotels, the Cairns Convention Centre is the largest event and conference space in the region.
This centre is like no other and leads the way in design, environmental credentials and catering.
Lunch today changed many ideas about dining in a convention centre with a delicious 3 course menu.

Welcome Dinner
Fridays dinner was sponsored by Tjaupkai Aboriginal Cultural Park. The lakeside dinner menu included kangaroo fillets and the seasons first farmed baby barramundi.
Guests experienced a Didjeridu journey, before joining the mob for a fire lighting and dancing ceremony.
Overnight accommodation was hosted in Cairns at Pullman Reef Hotel Casino, Hilton Cairns, The Sebel Cairns and The Shangri-La.

Group Breakfast
From the Shangri La, located right on the marina, our guests watched the wave of activity of the boats departing for a day on the Great Barrier Reef while enjoying a tropical breakfast.
The hearty breakfast was jsut what was needed to launch us into a full day of workshops.

Famil Workshops
To best showcase our business event products, the Sell TNQ Workshop venues - Pullman Reef Hotel Casino and The Sebel Cairns were be themed by Events NQ to reflect our tropical region.
Each guest enjoy one on one appointments with 36 Cairns & Great Barrier Reef exhibitors.

Workshop Lunch
A much deserved break from the workshops, lunch at Hilton Cairns was a tropical affair. How lovely to be able to eat outdoors.

Sell TNQ Gala Dinner
After a short cruise with Quicksilver the Green Island gala dinner was an event to remember. With an amazing seafood buffet and tabletop karaoke, guests kicked up their heels and danced the night away. The party continued on the boat ride home!
Overnight accommodation was hosted in Cairns at Pullman Reef Hotel Casino, Hilton Cairns, The Sebel Cairns and The Shangri-La.

Touring Day
Guests were able to select a touring option of a day on the Great Barrier Reef or exploring the world's oldest rainforest.
Both tours allowed participants to experience their heritage listed environment from above, below and within.
Those who headed out with Quicksilver Group's Great Adventures, snorkelled, dived and got a birdseye view on scenic helicopter flights with GBR Helicopters.
The Rainforest group soared above the canopy on Skyrail, explore within at Capta's Rainforestation and travelled within on the journey back to Cairns on Kuranda Scenic Railway.

Farewell Dinner
After a full days touring there was still plenty of energy to party at the main program final dinner.
Set by Events NQ in a fiesta style and catered by Port Douglas Catering & Events, Cairns' newest event venue - the Cairns Cruise Liner Terminal was superbly showcased.
Overnight accommodation was hosted in Cairns at The Holiday Inn, Novotel Cairns Oasis Resort, Mantra Triolgy and Mantra Esplanade.

Farewell Breakfast
The progressive breakfast along The Esplanade courtesy of the Rydges Group Cairns, gave those departing one last chance to soak up the tropical sunshine.
First stop - fresh fruit juice. Second stop - baked pastries and specialty yoghurts. Third stop - bacon and eggs. As if we hadn't eaten enough!!!!

A Jumping Good Time
To leave a lasting impression on all we had one last main program activity - Bungy Jumping at AJ Hackett
Many were adventurous enough to throw themselves headfirst off the tower while others, thinking they were taking the milder option, tried the Minjin Swing - boy were they wrong!

Sadly we said goodbye to some of our guests. 11 lucky participants stayed on for post touring of Palm Cove and Port Douglas.
